Whether you want to practice scales ascending and descending, refine your fingerpicking technique, or master arpeggio shapes, this feature makes your practice efficient, structured, and interactive.

🎵 How It Works

Create an exercise in one of the tools scales, arpeggio, and picking pattern. The Practice tool opens and displays your exercise visually on the fretboard and in a scrolling TAB view:

• Each playable note position is marked with a dot.
• When playing, the next position to play is highlighted and grows larger just before the next note appears – helping you stay perfectly in time.
• The rolling TAB view shows the exercise in tabulature form for easier following.

Once you’ve saved your first exercise, a dedicated Practice icon appears on your smartChord home screen for quick access to your exercises.

• ▶ Start button: Begin your exercise playback
• ✏️ Pencil button:
  • Adjust exercise speed
  • Activate and configure the Speed Trainer
  • Set a Timer
  • Add a “Count-in” before playback
• ➕ Plus button: Add or append other exercises (scale, arpeggio, or picking pattern)
• ↔ Direction button: Choose playback direction – forward, backward, or both
• Show notes option: Display the note names of the current positions on the fretboard
