FYI, you can run smartChord on non-Android devices using an Android emulator. It runs seamlessly on my Windows notebook computer under BlueStacks. It's nice for editing chordPro tunes since you can "select all - cut from the smartChord editor and past it into a text editor and use your keyboard. Then copy it back into smartChord. Synchronize works from blueStacks because I anso have the GoogleDrive app in the emulator.
I don't have an iPad but I think that there is an Android emulator for them. There doesn't seem to be any need for the smartChord team to do an Apple port.
