Quiz and game

A quiz determines what is being practiced. What was determined in the quiz is then practiced in a game. You can take the quiz and play it as often as you like. Repeated practice improves your knowledge of the intervals, notes, chords and scales. The statistics function shows you your progress and deficits.

Quiz

The creation of a new quiz determines what and how it is to be practiced. This includes, for example:

  • Should intervals, notes, chords, scales or their degrees be learned
  • How would I like to be asked the questions of the quiz. For example, with an reference tone for guidance
  • How do I want to answer the questions of the quiz? For example, via the input on the fretboard, the piano or a list of possible answers.
  • How many questions should be asked or how long should a game last?

A quiz can be compared to a race track that you can drive on as often as you like. You can save a quiz and open it at any time and play it again. All games of a quiz are summarized in a statistic to show your progress. You will find your saved quizzes in the table of contents.

Please note: Once a quiz has been created, it cannot be changed. This is because the results of a game should be comparable. As a workaround do the following:

  • Open the quiz
  • Create a new quiz. The open quiz is the template for the new quiz and adopts its settings
  • Save (overwrite) the new quiz with the name of the old quiz you want to adopt

Game

Your saved quizzes are listed in the table of contents. You can open it any time and play a game. At the end you’ll get the result and the statistics for a quiz.
