Language
smartChord supports the following languages:
- Basque
- Chinese (Traditional)
- English
- French
- German
- Indonesian
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Spanish
- Turkish
smartChord uses your smartphone’s language settings by default. However, you can also choose an app language independently of the system language. To do so, open the General Settings and tap the first option, Language (identified by the globe icon), to select a different language.
The language list displays language names in alphabetical order, with two exceptions:
- Your system language is always shown in the first position.
- English is always shown in the second position.
If you ever switch to a language you don’t understand, the flags next to the language names can help you find your way back. They represent the most populous country where the respective language is spoken.
For example, the German language is marked with the flag of Germany, and Spanish with the flag of Mexico. This makes it easier to identify languages even if you cannot read their names.
